About Viorel Moraru

Viorel Moraru is the Manager of the Business Services team in our Cryptocurrency Department. He provides accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services to businesses interacting with cryptocurrency—whether they’re using crypto to accept payments, pay employees and vendors, or as an investment.

As a crypto accountant for business, Viorel prepares GAAP compliant financial reports for both cryptocurrency and USD transactions. His clients include web3 startups, NFT-centric businesses, mining companies, node operators, blockchain consultants, day traders, and crypto influencers.

In addition to preparing monthly, quarterly, or annual reports, he’s helped a number of clients prepare financial reports to help secure multi-million-dollar investments. He also assists some of our HNWI clients with personal accounting and tax planning.

Viorel earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University in 2012. Shortly after graduation, he dove straight into accounting and hasn’t looked back since.

Viorel previously worked as an accountant in the healthcare, restaurant, and real estate industries. However, his passion for cryptocurrency led him to his role at Gordon Law Group, where he can support businesses that are pushing the blockchain industry forward.

He enjoys helping clients who have been turned away by other accounting firms and giving them peace of mind through accurate financial reports.

When he’s not in the office, Viorel enjoys keeping up with the crypto market and studying different philosophical concepts from around the world.
