Max Markoff is an associate attorney at Gordon Law, concentrating his practice on corporate law and tax compliance.

During law school, Max clerked for Justice Robert E. Gordon on the Illinois Appellate Court.

Max has extensive experience advising on complex tax law issues related to cryptocurrency. Additionally, Max works with clients in the firm’s corporate practice on mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and review, corporate structuring, and general business representation. Max also assists the firm’s Tax Compliance Department in guiding clients through complex areas of domestic and foreign taxation as it applies to U.S. people across the world.

Prior to joining the firm, Max focused his practice on advising private investment funds on formation and compliance matters, including funds that invest in digital assets.

Outside of work, Max enjoys following his favorite Chicago sports teams and reading.
