Julisa Alvarado is an Associate Accountant in our Cryptocurrency Department. She assists clients in preparing accurate crypto tax returns by reconciling their transaction histories.

Julisa has prepared more than 100 cryptocurrency tax returns, often saving clients substantial money in taxes compared to the results of crypto tax software. She frequently works on files involving mining, NFTs, DeFi, liquidity pools, and bot trading.

Since many clients are confused and stressed by their cryptocurrency taxes, Julisa enjoys answering their questions and helping them achieve peace of mind.

Julisa earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Accounting at Northern Illinois University. Prior to joining Gordon Law Group, she worked as an accountant in both accounts payable and accounts receivable. She finds accounting for cryptocurrency much more exciting than traditional accounting.

When she is not at the office, Julisa enjoys watching movies and TV shows and spending time with family.
